Nurse sent in a prescription for a wrong medication.
The Aurora team, tried to wash their hands of it. Did not want to take responsibility for sending in the wrong prescription. Then they tried to placate me with coupons for the hospital cafe! Unbelievable!
All they needed to do was reimburse me for the useless medication the first time I talked to them, when they realized it was their mistake.
However, they decided to toy with me, over a series of phone calls, that used up hours of my precious time. They did not want to deal in dollars and cents. Even though the amount was fairly inconsequential. They claimed they did not have money for reimbursement. (Another lie, to the innocent party). We all know businesses as large as Aurora have a petty cash fund!
You can rate your health care, on the amount of responsibility that is taken, after mistakes are admitted, but recompense is denied.
