Buyer/builder beware. We purchased a Ledgecrest home in the summer of 2014. At the time the house was only 2 years old. Not long after moving in, we noticed that when walking on the tile floor, we could hear a gritty sound. Almost like sand moving around under the tiles. Fast forward 1 year...the grout around the tiles throughout the kitchen and entryway started cracking and breaking. Shortly after that, the tiles started moving around and also started cracking and breaking. Such a headache! Here we are, with a 7 year old home, looking into replacing the tile floors already. Ive also noticed the problem starting in all of the bathrooms as well, so down the road we will be needing to replace that flooring, too. I did contact Ledgecrest homes by email regarding this problem when it started and never got a response back. Shouldnt be surprised, I guess. Another problem were having is the insides of drawers through the house are coming apart and cant be used. Again, cheap materials. These are not problems that homeowners of a 7 year old home should be facing. Had the job been done properly and the correct materials used, the tile floors should have lasted a lifetime. Its obvious cheap materials were used and corners were cut. Because of the carelessness of Ledgecrest Homes, were having to spend thousands of dollars to repair their mistakes. The floors are not an easy fix, either. Its going to require pulling the kitchen cabinets out to remove the tile underneath them. I would not recommend this builder.
