        Love trying their Fresh menu every week at the farmers market! Her pies and cakes are divine! A lot of stores give you that artificial boxed cake flavor, with overly sweet frosting... The Bakery's dishes are phenomenal and authentically created!

        The service was good, had a croissant and was amazing. Bought a chocolate cake with buttercream for my grandsons birthday . Was TERRIBLE!! None of thw kids would take more than 1 bite. Some spit it out. The buttercream tasted like Shortening, thw cake was dense, not sweet at all, no flavor. Threw the whole cake out. First time in my life I didn't want to eat cake. ( maybe that's a good thing?) Bought a cake from Uncle Mikes the next day. Epic fail.

        My first visit to this bakery where I bought two, fresh out of the oven, toffee-chocolate chip cookies. Delicious, home baked cookies at a very fair price!

        Chef Liz helped make my parents' 70th anniversary extra special by making Croquembouche, which had been their wedding cake in Casablanca in 1953. She delivered the cake and some dessert bars on time and on a Sunday...much appreciated!

      While we're glad you enjoyed the croissant, we are so sorry that you were disappointed with your cake. We do not use shortening in our baking: the buttercream is made from real butter, eggs, and sugar. It is by far our most popular and most commonly requested frosting! But it has a European flavor profile: it is creamy, but not super sweet. For families that prefer a sweeter frosting, we don't recommend Italian buttercream. I hope you will consider giving us another chance to dazzle you with one of our other selections, so we can make this right.
