Thanks, Quartz, for denying me assessment and treatment from Mayo Clinic, the closest facility that treats Autoimmune Autonomic Ganglionopathy. Also, thanks for not addressing my appeal for one year. Did you know that treatment is sometimes helpful for AAG if done early? You took that away from me. Did you know that life expectancy is affected by this disease, especially without treatment? You made these choices for me. Now, I don't need to be concerned about my future because you took that away from me. I'm not sure why you think that my life doesn't matter. With what time I have left, I will be sharing my story about how Quartz wouldn't allow me to be assessed and treated because being in network is more important than one's life.

why bother paying for this insurance. when you actually need it, quartz doesn't cover what you need. we needed a full spectrum viral swab for my wife. We needed to know what virus she had, if it was a virus, to protect another family member with lung disease but our PA informed us that there would be extra charges ($100s)  for that. only rsv, Covid and flu are covered by this entirely crappy insurance we pay through the nose for!if you have a choice, which I don't because this is what my job offers, go with anything other than this shitty insurance company.

Not even 1 doctor in Dane county will accept new patients, the welcome center referred me to Beaver Damn!!!!!!   I pay over $24,000 a yr(self insured, small business owner, but this is ONLY our family's (4)premium. Employees have same insurance, we pay for theirs too) I called to get an appointment at uw health. Transferred me to the welcome center, the welcome center said the closest uw health dr accepting "new" patients is Beaver damn!I'm in Lodi, by deforest and Waunakee. I buy this insurance to have access to "UW" doctors!Website is wrong, do not trust "accepting" new patients. Do NOT choose quartz if you need a new dr. An employee paid 4yrs, gave up because he couldn't find a dr that would accept him. I remember calling,  the kept insisting I give them a name of his current dr, he didn't have one! So he dropped his coverage. Now I'm looking for an alternative to quartz.

Avoid at all costs! Horrible horrible horrible. Randomly dropped my infant from coverage, terrible customer service, spent hours on the phone, ended up paying hundreds more than our max out of pocket. Theyre lining their pockets with your money and taking advantage of people at every turn.

Quartz can only inform UW about patient complaints and refers patients to UW Patient Relations who have little power to do anything.
