I spoke with Steven in early 2023 to handle a Transfer Upon Death(TOD) where 1 of 4 disputed selling a home. It is now SEVERAL MONTHS and $7,000 LATER (9months) and we finally got a court date. I feel and have expressed my concern that his lack of attention has cost me money in the upkeep of the home. Yet, my concern went unnoticed. He tried to convince me that this all takes time and the "FEE'S are divided 4 ways." But in reality, all the petitions required is a 20 DAY RESPONSE. That conflicts with HIS timely attention. Not to mention, he's not including "pertinent" information( I felt it is important). Affidavits that were signed didn't get included). Every time the 20 days lapsed (I reached out, then was charged), stating, "Hey, Im still here, what's going on?" So far, Im less than satisfied! Mean while Im paying out my nose. SMH soooo disappointed. If and when things do change, so will my opinion. But thus far, I'm not impressed! By the way, I received his information through the board. I was expecting high quality and efficiency. I received less than! I did end up firing him. He showed up to court and charged me. He must be hard up for money. Here, I'm a single woman with a limited income because of physical issues, and he's charging me for errors and after I fired him. He did offer me 100$ to walk away, closing the file. SMH. My response, you have the upper hand. Do what you think is right. However, I'd like you to review billing and remove all the rewrites, mistakes, and court fee(since you WERE FIRED). IT SHOULDN'T HAVE COST MORE THAN MY ORIGINAL $4 GRAND. This of course is my perception and opinion. Not meant for legal purposes.
