Reached out to drop in on the women's program and quickly received a response. I prefer training with women in new places and ended up visiting a regular advanced Jiu-Jitsu class (6 women present! woo woo!) and LOVED it. The vibe was friendly, safety was prioritized and instruction was delivered as a fun combination of techniques for every level. Justin and Riel are cheerful, professional and I really appreciate how respectful training partners seem to be of one another. Definitely felt a sense of belonging and encourage any one looking for a home gym or in need of rolling partners while traveling to check out Combat Sports. It can be hard out there for a solo grappler!
