Next Step Energy

Working with Next Step Energy on our home solar installation was a pleasure. Everyone we worked with during the project was knowledgeable and professional and honestly fun to talk to. They were very accommodating and flexible with the timeline of the project when things didn't go as planned, and they were unexpectedly generous with their time and labor. During installation, the crew noticed a few cracked rafters along the roof of the house. They could have simply ignored it or told us that we needed to have it fixed; but instead, they went out of their way to add a couple 2x4's to strengthen it. It was totally unrelated to the project--just a nice gesture. I would highly recommend them.

As always, check with your utility company as they are part of the process, but I highly recommend Next Step Energy. As they were one of the companies our utility company works with, I'm very glad we chose them. Their knowledge is amazing because it was specific to how our utility company manages solar and gave easy to understand explanations of all steps. They had a competitive offer that beat most other solar companies that I looked into, but what was really impressive was their customer service and speed. They were upfront with the process with paperwork and cost of project. They always let me know of any additional charges (which I had none - what I was quoted, is what I paid) Their timing was amazing with all aspects of the project like response time, starting and completely the project with their busy schedule, and answering all my questions thoroughly without hesitation and quickly. They were kind when they came out to our house, treated it with respect with going in and out the entire installation and no garbage was left behind. I don't like to give 5 stars but this is one company that I have zero complaints about.
