Nice local bank to handle most of your banking needs. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Convenient location. Two downsides: 1. For those that like online banking, Nicolet National website is always experiencing some kind of issue. Either you can't log in, the site is down for maintenance, they reset your passwords and security questions without telling you, transfers between accounts do not seem to always work (be careful when using this service) and since joining a few months ago, I've has several fraud charges on my ATM card. So, you end up calling Customer Support which really is no help at all. The ATM cards are Mastercard Visas which seem to have lots of security issues. However, the local branch has no control of the website. 2. The ATMs are not connected online. Branches have to manually remove any deposits and process during regular business house. If a deposit is made after hours, it can take up to 4 days (if made on the weekend) before customers will see the deposit in their accounts. Even making deposit during regular business hours will take up to two days before showing available. When using their ATM, make sure to get a receipt as you may need to submit it for the bank to correct any error. Otherwise, a good place to do business. Hopefully they will update their services soon and get the website under control.

Our business was with M Bank for years and we were happy. Since the Nicolet take over I can't even get anyone to answer the phone. Seems like a real lack of attention to customer service

Everyone who I have interacted with at this bank has been very kind and helpful to me, especially Jed and Danielle. They have gone above and beyond and I am incredibly grateful for their efforts!

I worked with John H. In the eagle river branch, new construction loan and he was a pleasure to work with. He kept me in the loop through the entire 12 months and personally helped out when I encountered bumps in the road. I think banks are banks but John made it personal and I truly believe he was on my side. Highly recommend John!!
