For the 2023 Fair, Genevieve Heyward was back, but for the first time with a band, and they rocked! Thankfully she did her solo version of the Beatles "A Day In The Life". She does this with only a piano, no effects, and nails it. You must hear this. Put June 22nd on your calendar! This is the largest Energy Fair in the United States. It is not just solar, wind, or EV's, it is an entire life style. And, the food! The entertainment! The workshops! It is truly worth attending all 3 days. The 1st picture is of Tae & The Neighborly, a Wisconsin group I had not heard yet. She has soul & grit in her voice that you wouldn't expect from such a small frame!. Attached is a picture of one of the keynote speakers, Chef Sean Sherman, Founder/CEO of The Sioux Chef, Co-founder of The North American Traditional Indigenous Food System, and Co-owner of Owamni. There was standing room only outside of the tent, and he hit the nail on the head on our problems with food supply, and poor health. The picture of Just 1 More Scoop shows the quote from The Mentalist...until then, there's ice cream...makes me smile every year! Also attached, a picture of my Solar E-Trike. I built it for a 6-day tour, and MREA asked me to display it in their Clean Transportation area...great conversations with the Fair-goers!
