The Mill Events

I cannot write a good enough review to describe our experience working with The Mill. We got married at The Mill May 2023, and everything was absolutely perfect. Nancy and Bud were incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the service was above and beyond what we could have expected! I would definitely recommend The Mill to anyone!

We have been working with Nancy and Buddy at The Mill since their first year of business. As I look at these reviews I am so happy to see so many positive ones as we truly enjoy working with them and their incredible staff. Being in the service industry myself it is hard to read the "bad" reviews when they tend to leave out the information about policies and contract information that is signed off on and agreed upon prior to the big day. As a caterer. before my first event at The Mill I did a site visit to see what I was working with. I have discussed with the owners what their expectations of us are as well as what they provide so going into an event there are no surprises. Quite often clients do not read the policies or discuss the in's an out's with the other vendors and then on the big day things become stressful. The Mill is a beautiful venue with amazing owners. They are there to faciliate a beautiful event for you. If other vendors such as caterers, DJ's, florists, event planners are involved please make sure everyone is on the same page and you will indeed have an amazing event

We toured only 2 venues prior to visiting The Mill and after meeting with Nancy we knew immediately we wanted to have our wedding here. It is a stunning building with many unique features (bridal suite & grooms' den!!). Nancy & Buddy were both wonderful people to work with, they really did help an immense amount throughout the planning process and there was never a lack of communication, nor did I ever feel like I was bothering them with my questions (which were answered very promptly!). Nancy & Buddy both spent all day long with us on the day of to make sure there were no hiccups. Nancy also doubles as a day-of coordinator and handles everything thrown at you - before you even know about it. She can be as involved or uninvolved as you want her to be and makes any decisions based on their couples' best interest. They gave us plenty of time all weekend. Friday for set-up/wedding day we could be there as early as we needed to be/and gave us plenty of time Sunday for clean-up, which they did most of before we got there! We appreciate everything they did for us and can't recommend The Mill Events enough. 10/10. Thank you, Nancy & Bud!! Oh! And they allow dogs :)
