I inherited my Grandfather's clock which was about 40 years old and it worked until we ended up moving. Turns out the clock was "jimmy rigged" by another person my Grandpa must have hired decades ago. This required the entire mechanism to be replaced and tuned to get it back into working condition. It took some time since the part came from Germany and needed to be calibrated but every second was worth it to hear the clock work again. The service was phenomenal, very professional and answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to keep it running smooth. Once the clock was working and I was being shown how to take care of it, I started to cry and ended up crying more after he left. I know its a long review but I have memories of this clock since I was a kid and I was so happy I could get this fixed. It's my only material item I have from my Grandpa. With that being said if you are searching for someone to fix your clock, stop looking and call Gruhr! You will be amazed by the service.

I sent Tim a Black Forest cuckoo clock my stepdad brought back from Germany. Looking back it was probably the worst time to do so with COVID still an issue. Tim diagnosed the issue by looking at some preliminary photos I sent him but when it came to obtaining parts from Germany that was a bottleneck. Finally after almost two years the clock is back in NC and works great! Tim did a wonderful job refurbishing this sentimental piece. I would highly recommend Tim for any clock work. He is honest, skilled and has a lot of patience and determination.
