Lakewoods Resort

Food/buffet was very expensive and the meat was cold. All other food was fine.

My friend and I and our 4 kids were stranded Saturday night on our snowmobiles in an ice storm. I was injured by a falling tree. We came across Lakewoods and Kari and her staff were very caring and accommodating to our needs. She really went above and beyond for us ensuring we were safe and warm and had a place to stay for the night. We really appreciate everything you did for us Kari! Btw, I went to the ER when I got home and no broken bones.

Lakewoods, the most memorable place for my family and snowmobiling. I have been going here since I was 2 years old with my grandparents, uncles, and cousins to ride snowmobiles. It was the hottest spot to go to in the winter. Usually we would stay at americinn in Hayward or in Cable after picking up our sleds. We would always order cheese curds, cherry cokes, and a bacon cheeseburger. I have not been up here in 14 years. Until January 7th of this year and it is still the most awesome place to hang out at. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, and a small arcade area next to the pool. They once had a pool table above the stairs but sadly, they had to take it down for more chair space. The lake side view is amazing to look out onto the lake. I love this place. Thank you Lakewoods, for all the memories and years I shared with my family here.

Can't wait to go back. Bartender is a firecracker and waitress was so kind and cheerful. Beautiful view by the windows and fireplace! Food was phenomenal

Our buddy got separated from our snowmobile group. He ended up at lakewoods. His snowmobile wouldn't start. The general manager charged him $150 to give him a ride back to our resort 15 min away. Found out the next day from the great staff at pioneer that lakewoods is part of give a safe ride home club. I'm sure that doesn't mean charging the individual 150 and pocketing the money and then filling out a form to get reimbursed. Nice general manager u have their lakewoods.
