Super torn about my rating because we had mixed experiences. We did a larger remodel project on our home with Tom and his crew and all in all we were mostly happy with how it turned out. It was a multistep project, including a full bathroom remodel, flooring throughout most of the house, painting multiple rooms, and a few other projects. Our biggest issue with this project ended up being the flooring subcontractors, who messed up some tile work multiple times and had to come back a few times to fix different mistakes. Even Tom had a hard time keeping in contact with them, and eventually he mentioned he likely wouldn't be using that company ever again. In general, mostly great experience, right? Well, the second time we went to hire was for a much smaller project. Because we had worked with them before, we figured we could trust the project to be pretty quickly finished. We called and after a quick reminder on who we were, we had an estimate time roughly set for later the same week. Unfortunately, we never heard back again. Because we had called near the middle of the week, we waited a week before checking in with a message to see if we were still on. Another week went by with no response, and we tried one last time and left a voice mail. Never got a response and we just felt ghosted. I can totally understand being too busy with other projects to be able to work on our small one now, and even mentioned that in our voice-mail, but it still sucked to never got a response after three attempts to get in contact after being told we would see them for an estimate on the first call. We're still searching for a new contractor for our small project because of it.
