JJ's Guide Service

Enjoyed our day on the ice with JJ and his crew! They spent some time giving tips and jigging techniques. Checked in on us often. We ended up with our limit by 1pm so it was a good bite day! JJ kept a close eye on the weather and had planned to get us off the ice a little early to avoid getting caught in the snow squall that was forecasted. Transportation to and from shack was warm and comfortable. Shack was roomy and warm as well!

Get ready to have a lot of fun! JJ and his crew are awesome! They will take you to your nice & warm ice house/shack in one of the Polaris (the ride is freaking awesome!), they will grill a warm lunch for you in the middle of the ice (bratwurst was yummy!) and they will make sure youre all set and taken care of. Either this is your 1st time or 50th time going ice fishing, go see JJ and his crew. At the end of the day, you will take your catch down the street to a local fishery where they will clean the fish for you and you will bring home some nice fillets to enjoy with your loved ones. You must love Winter and dress in layers. Ice fishing/snowmobiling/skiing clothing is a must. And of course a pair of good Winter boots. Thanks guys! I had a blast!

JJ and his crew are true professionals. They took the time to teach the different techniques needed to catch the fish. Most importantly, these guys were amazing with my 7 year old, Blake. They drove him around to check on other shacks, let him help drill some holes, and made sure he had a memorable day on the ice. Blake now thinks he is a professional ice fishing guide. It was a day he'll never forget! Thank you guys so much. Can't wait to do it again next year.

I have fished with other guides here in Door County and I can say without a doubt that fishing with JJ and his team was one of my favorite experiences. I will for sure fish with him and his team again. JJ and his guides are genuine, and actually take time to make sure you are getting the attention you need to enjoy yourself on the ice. They run the best equipment and the knowledge and experience with this team is outstanding- An overall Enjoyable Experience. OH Yeah did I mention that we took home buckets of fish as as well! JJ and his team take care of us each year we come out to door county and ice fish. They put us on the fish and always make sure we have everything we need for a good day. Exceptional service and communication.
