Kevin was an amazing realtor, he walked us through shopping for both a duplex rental property and a primary residence. While we ended up buying the duplex off market, he was instrumental in teaching us so much about home quality, craftsmanship, and things to look out for. He always had great insight into renovation potential and costs and was realistic in expectations. He shared so much knowledge about the neighborhoods we liked, styles we wanted and even about real estate investing. A few times he even talked us out of a house we got swept up in, knowing that it wasn't really what we wanted. He seemed to know what we were truly looking for even more than we did sometimes, he's not someone who is just looking to make a sale. UPDATE 2022: Kevin has come through for us again. This is now the third time we have worked with him and he is just so great to work with. He helped us buy in 2010, and then sell/buy in 2017 (see review below). After about 4 years, we were ready for another move and decided to take advantage of this hot market. He gave us valuable feedback and worked with us through the process from listing to closing. He is truly very knowledgeable about the housing market and he knows houses. He always takes his time with us at showings and makes sure he answers any questions we have. I recommend him to anyone looking for a great realtor! 2017: Weve used Kevin Rigg as our real estate agent twice now. The first time was back in 2010 when he was highly recommended by a friend. He helped us find the house in the country that we were looking for at that time in our lives. Times changed and our needs changed so this year we found ourselves wanting to sell our home and move closer to the city. Without hesitation, we called Kevin to list our house and help us find our next home. He gave us great advice on small updates we could do prior to listing. We took a couple of weeks to get the work done and Kevin got our house on the market. Lots of showings later, we got an offer and closed about two months after listing the home. I have no doubt that the services provided by Kevin, and Shorewest, were pivotal to our sale. Kevin works very hard for his clients and is exceptionally knowledgeable about houses. He responds quickly to questions and makes himself available for showings. He knows the greater Milwaukee area neighborhoods very well. We are less than a week from closing on our new home that Kevin helped us find. If and when we become ready to move again, we would definitely call Kevin.
