        Im new to Common Grounds insurance and just received a denial on a needed injection. Ill be switching to another health insurance company. Save your time, better companies out here.

        Absolute garbage. You're better off not having insurance. Nothing is "in network." If it is, they'll claim authorization was needed prior. Snakes. They deny every claim. 2 years of premiums and these a-holes have literally never contributed a cent towards my healthcare. Just taken my money. I'm serious - this provider is so terrible to work with that you are better off having zero insurance.

        I'd give 0 stars if I could! They don't pay for anything! $200 co-pay for the visit. Then, nothing on the actual visit, I'm having to pay $600 for a $800 billed visit!!! Glad I chose UHC for this year. Would not choose them ever again!

        I used to be happy with my plan and what seemed to be comprehensive coverage... until they decided a $290 Covid test would not be covered. Run. Do not choose Common Ground.

        This is the worst insurance I have ever had in my entire work history, they are constantly denying claims from visits to the urgent Care for my kids with strep throat, to my own foot surgery claiming I have failed conservative treatment when I have been suffering for 5 years with plantar fasciitis, they keep denying my doctors request to do surgery on my foot and on top of it all have the worst customer service when you call and try to get them to do something about these things. One of their representatives actually lied and told me that a Bill had been paid when it in fact had not been paid even though it had been submitted by the service provider. I agree with someone else who posted that you would be better off not even having insurance, I have huge bills after every single visit to anywhere that I go and I will be looking elsewhere because this is absolutely awful.

      All Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative (CGHC) health plans have an Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) network. An EPO is a type of managed care plan where services are covered only when you use doctors, specialists, or hospitals that are in the plan’s network (except in an emergency). Our Envision Network serves Eastern Wisconsin and features providers who will treat you with care and will never bill you above the contracted rate for covered services: Aurora Health Care, Bellin Health, ThedaCare, Children’s Wisconsin, Watertown Provider and Hospital Organization, Door County Medical Center, and many more independent providers. Please know that health insurance is a highly regulated industry. CGHC must follow the rules established for all insurers who offer Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans on, and off, the Healthcare Marketplace (Exchange). These rules were established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI).       CGHC offers many plan designs to meet people’s needs. Plans with the lowest monthly premium (cost before any government tax credit or other help) often have higher out-of-pocket costs. The Schedule of Benefits (SOB) explains the out-of-pocket costs a member will need to pay for covered services. We encourage anyone shopping for health insurance to carefully review all of the plan documents before enrolling in any plan.
