The accounts manager yawned loudly on the phone after I began answering her question. She never called me back. I've tried to keep in touch with her personnel, but to no avail. Many companies these days seem to share this...well, lack of integrity to do what they say they are going to do. So, I can't just pin it all on this one company. This trend is widespread, people. You are not going to find what you are looking for through a temp agency or a recruiter. They all do the same thing these days, and it has become the accepted behavior in the industry. I'm just writing what I've observed, as I have been at this pursuit for well over one year now. It is incredibly painful, particularly to those who truly honor integrity and pride in their work, to be let down by people who take it for granted that they have a job in a nice office. There are people in many companies I've been to who look like they do not know how to navigate through their computer file system. They play games on their smartphones, and do very little actual work. Privilege has to end, and real jobs need to come back.
