Personable, professional, and cutting edge. Dr. Salm has been my dentist for 8 years. During this time, I've observed that his equipment, training, and procedures, are very up-to-date. He and his staff have always given me friendly and professional care . On a recent visit he ordered a panoramic x-ray of my jaw and neck. He explained that a person my age, these x-rays should be taken every 3 to 5 years. After studying the X-ray, Dr. Salm showed me some slight shading on what he identified as a carotid artery in my neck. He was concerned that this shaded area might indicate calcification of the carotid artery and suggested that I investigate further with my primary care physician. This information led me to meetings with my primary care doctor, referrals for a number of tests and finally the scheduling for cardiac surgery in the next few weeks.
