Phillip Carton was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was in constant communication and kept on top of all of the details with my insurance company. His crew was fast and efficient and did an excellent job cleaning up - you wouldn't have even known they were there! I don't know how the experience could have been any better. I highly recommend Empire Exteriors.

The work done by the contracted crews of Empire did a very good job on my roof, siding, and gutters. Chad their project manager does a nice job as well. However, how Empire operates as a company is totally dysfunctional with an owner that only cares about making sure people know he drives a Limited Ram Truck. They cannot answer basic lead time questions of when a job might be completed. My roof was scheduled to be installed and was then canceled without notification. The reason I was eventually told was because the materials were on backorder, and they did not know when ABC Supply would deliver. The materials were sitting in my driveway the entire time. They took the easy route in blaming ABC Supply every time instead of taking accountability for their disorganization. After my job was completed, I had to send numerous emails to have them submit a certificate of completion to release the remaining funds from the insurance. I could not believe it was so difficult to get someone to submit completion so I could pay them the remaining funds. I understand people are busy but there is no internal communication at this company. Below/attached is an actual email I received from the owner Glenn Procknow after asking simple questions about when my job might be completed (after it was initially canceled) so I had an idea. The email is not altered or changed in anyway. I would recommend finding another company to work with if you have any roofing, siding, or gutter needs. How many siding crews do you have? How often do you talk to ABC supply to find out how thier inventory is?  Do you control the weather? It sounds like to me that you know it "all" and don't even need us, even though you signed a contract asking for us to do the work. There is hundreds of jobs being done every day there is a nation wide shortage in all building materials. Gutter crews, roofing crews, siding crews are all being stretched thin with the amount of work over load that is happening. Delivery trucks are being bogged down unable to keep up with the demand. Along with the weather not cooperating we still  go out of our way every single day to help our fellow man and our community. Just to be belittled by Someone who knows "nothing" about the industry or what's going on behind the scene. I do not appreciate your snarky comments when all we are trying to do is make you happy like the hundreds of other homeowners we have worked with so far. Phillip carton will be in communication with you in the future on how we will proceed forward."
