They get a star, only because I am unable to give them nothing; cause that is what they deserve. I was a recent participant in their Intensive Outpatient Virtual. I feel they basically stole the money from Medicaid. So, Ok, I was there cause of acute mental disorder (suicide/depression) earned through early childhood trauma, the military (a vet), living and teaching overseas (anti-poverty/anti-violence in Asia) graduate school and been care-giver to disabled and elderly family for 12 years now as well as paramedic, firefighter, hospice and recovery coach. This stuff weighs on me I felt no compassion and empathy from any of the staff. And very much failed to connect with anyone. It was very alienating. They also often forget about me online and failed to bring me back to group a couple of times. When I "complained" the therapists "gate-kept" me and "stonewalled me. When I continued they wrote me up as non-compliant. Would not listen to my issue at all or respond to them. They say they called me, or a supervisor did, but my phone has no record of that. Oh, they blamed me and technology but I do part-time IT and online game development and worked virtually a lot during CoVid. They could take no personal responsibility. And then they would make forms up for me to sign which would further outline more compliance issues. I felt that they were punitive in nature and said so. So they further blocked/censored me. Telling me what I can say or not and wanted me to sign it, too? Who are these people? Where did they learn so poorly, their job to do? My therapist, would constantly make faces when I talked about really deep/dark stuff. It got so bad; I was afraid to go; cause they were just making me feel worse-more depressed/more suicidal. I called my normal therapist, psychiatrist and personal care physician to ask for some help. They really could't do much, I guess, cause the money that would go to pay them; was going to these unprofessional charlatans at Rogers-Appleton. So, because I was afraid to go/expressing self-care. And Waiting for someone in charge, especially not my therapist, to call, cause I feel she was a big part of the problem of evidence of a culture of discompassion in the facility. No one called. But my therapist, the one person I asked not/ever to deal with. Called me and told me they were kicking me out cause I wasn't connecting (which, as you recall, was the first point i made; that started this unprofessional gaggle to so bureaucratically punish, disavow and dismiss me). Day(s) later, still haven't heard from anyone, did not get the help i needed/wanted/worked and paid for. I am at my whits end with them. Not only that; their ineptness, has left me way further worse than I was when I started and further driven chaos/discord into my familial relationships and ability to perform.

The only thing my child got from Rogers was an extreme distrust of all healthcare professionals. They were put on medications and then left without any care of any kind. They never got to the root of their issues. It's been more than a month since they unceremoniously discharged my child via an unwarranted inpatient stay and we still haven't been able to get even a new therapist. Do not recommend.

I did IOP and PHP for both mental health and Eating disorders at the Rogers in Appleton a 3ish years ago. I would give all the therapists, dietitians, and Med staff that I interacted with 5 stars. Except Dr. Wissensel, everyone I've talked too who was in programming with me and worked with her along with myself had only absolutely horrible things to say about her. She treated her patients like we are absolutely useless and like we are dumb. She is beyond rude and has a pretty big opinion for someone who refuses to take the time to get to know her patients. She pushes meds and is just overall quite disrespectful. Watch out for her otherwise it was a good program.
