Had an absolutely amazing day fishing!! Captain Byron and first mate Zack are first class fishermen. They really know their stuff and bagged us a catch of a lifetime. Our 2 biggest fish were 33 lbs and 25lbs. Have fished other lake Michigan charters and have never had a catch as grand. To pass time when the fish weren't on the line, they played entertaining music to boost moral and had a grill on the boat so we were able to have a cookout. Prices for such a trip were very reasonable. Can't wait to make this a yearly trip!!

Not a great day of fishing due to weather but the captain was less than cordial and the experience was not focused on the clients. The captain didnt even introduce himself or his mate. Find a different guide service.

Not a good experience. Boat was nice and First mate Matt was somewhat personable. However when Captn Byron wasnt on his phone (presumably talking to others looking for fish) he was chain smoking. First one, I thought OK a little unusual but were outside but then he didnt stop. Second hand smoke really sucks. Unfortunately we only ended up with three bites and two fish in five hours. From the time we introduced ourselves at 3:40 AM til the time we left the boat at 9 am, the captain never actually engaged us in conversation or even said a word to us the entire five hours. When we got off, not even so much as a thank you. Zero, zip, nada. Really weird. A big part of the fishing is the experience. The one pot of coffee was hot, but the muffins were prepackaged mini muffins from the local C-store. I get fishing is hit or miss but the customer service was definitely a miss.
