I used to come to Oglebay all the time to walk on the trails and finally got a chance to stay. While a ton of construction was going on, it was hardly noticeable. Our room was super clean, and the bed was comfortable. For the most part, it's very quiet and peaceful. We eat at the bar each night. Staff is super nice and the food is great! I will be returning.

Breakfast is not free! It is 11. which they will quietly add to your bill. Room prices all over the map. Some of us paid 99., some as high as 159. Nice staff. Not for anyone who has difficulty getting around. Elevators are few and far between. Very spread out. 4/8. Don't go there now. Construction inside and out. The fabulous breakfast buffet is a thing of the past. Parking is very very limited.
