Dr. Peter Z. Bala, MD

We had Sherry for our first visit (nurse visit) and we loved her. Dr. Bala is very nice and gladly answers any questions and concerns. I know so many people who just love him, so we knew we wanted him to care for us. It's a little scary to be an older OB patient. This is my first child and I'm 38, but Dr. Bala has made things easier. He's very even tempered and professional which I really like.

Dr. Bala is a great doctor. However, the receptionists are very rude. Ive had 2 miscarriages. Each time I would call with questions, they would rudely tell me to go the ER. They wouldnt let me go to the OB lab like most other OBs do. During my most recent pregnancy, I called to schedule my 24 week appointment. The receptionist rudely said Was there not anyone here when you finished your last appointment? Its like she was extremely bothered that I called to schedule my next appointment, which nothing was open for six weeks. I told her no because Id waited almost 2 hours. I waited almost 3 hours to get my initial scan, which could not be scheduled until 12 weeks because they were so booked up.
