The owner was wonderful as long as you follow the rules you will have no issues whatsoever and he will do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable. All he wants is customers that do not cause problems and as long as you are that then this is the place to go because it's the cheapest place they take cash no deposits and they are very very kind here The only downside is that unless you get lucky you don't get a refrigerator or a microwave because only some of the rooms have them. but the longer you stay the more likely you are to get those things because he's already offered me a refrigerator as soon as the other guy leaves that has one in his room and he's supposed to be leaving in the next day or so so that means I will have a refrigerator then and that is wonderful because I don't have one that's out of yet and I've already had food stolen out of my cooler outside because it's cooler outside to keep the cooler in and all I put out there was Chinese food from the night before and the next morning went outside and it was gone but if someone is that hungry that they have to steal someone else's food they can have it and the owner even offered after he found out to take the amount of money that the food was worth off my bill which I thought was really nice of him even though I told him that it was fine if he was very hungry like that I would love to just leave it be I don't want to cause any problems and he said no no no that's my responsibility and I guess it's some charity case guy that he's trying to get out of here but no one can take him so I'm sure he'll be out of here soon but he's a little bit freaky lol but he hasn't really bothered me besides that except for bumming cigarettes which I just flat out said no to that but he did steal our food which was a little bit ridiculous but I would have given it to him if he had asked if he's that hungry that he feels he has to steal my food I would have given it to him in a heartbeat I mean it's not like I don't have money to go buy my own food and I don't have a microwave to heat it up in anyway so he's eating it cold so I feel bad enough for him as it is but the owner offered to reimburse me which I thought was really nice of him I told him he didn't have to but he did anyway and I think that is really nice of him and said that we are very good customers and he's not going to let that slide and I thought that was really nice of him so if you need a good place to go that doesn't cost very much and has a owner that is on everybody to stay in line then here's a place Grove terrace motel can't beat the price can't beat the people You have any problems talk to Vince the owner he'll take care of it thank you Good luck
Rooms: The rooms are very clean, he cleans up the trash everyday, he offers you new towels everyday, and like I said before he tries to make your stay as best as he can while you're here I've not had any issues with heat or any air conditioning when I was here before so as far as I'm concerned this place is just as good as any other and cost a lot less so if you pay by the week you will save a lot more money singles are always cheaper than doubles but they do not allow guests meaning don't bring people around because you will get thrown out but that's fine with me because I don't want people coming here lol anyway hope this helps you and good luck
Nearby activities: lots of stuff nearby including restaurants gas stations even grocery stores a little farther along but there's a bus stop right out front so you can get wherever you need to go
Safety: I feel safe here the owner Vince takes very good care of this place and keeps a very good eye on it so if you have any issues at all you just go to him and he will take care of it. so I have felt safe since I've been here
Walkability: pretty much everything you need to get two is within walking distance so if you need groceries or the dollar store or hot food or even cold food everything is within walking distance meaning like no more than 10 to 15 minutes walk so definitely a good spot and it's minutes from the highway
