Select Specialty Hospital - Wheeling

Was visiting a good friend and he had pushed his nurce light and we waited almost 20min before I went to look for a nurce and when I did she told me he wasn't her patient and would find someone and walked away,we waited another 20min till a staff member came in she told me she wasn't his nurce or aide and walked out finally his aide came in she turned his call light off and walked out of room without asking what was needed and when I approached her she told me that she would get a nurce and still no one came , about an hour later his nurce came in .. The whole he isn't my patient is extremely unprofessional and shows lack of care,I was extremely disappointed in my friends care team

I was hospitalized at Select, in Wheeling, WV, for 36 days to recuperate from severe sepsis. Professional, expert, competent and nurturing care was provided by the entire staff. Each medical concern/problem was dealt with by a professional team of people, specific to the area/s of concern.

This place is great! My grandmother was recently transferred here. The staff have been attentive, personable, and very caring towards my entire family. They even accommodated to allow my grandmas best friend, her senior dog, to come and visit. Tammy the RN and Becky the case manager have been fantastic!!! I am so thankful my grandma found care here!

They told us after leaving the Hospital, that this would be the place to take my Husband to get off of a ventilator and get back home. They did not disappoint! The staff was wonderful and very professional. We now have him home and we recommend them to anyone.
