Pocahontas Motel

Was looking for a place to stay and we were not the normal highways. Kind of off the and path. Came across the Pocahontas motel. I am in a wheelchair. Dave thought owner was great came out with a tape measure. Make sure I could fit in the room. Room was clean comfortable. I don't know if it was the mountain air but I slept for probably 10 hours. My handicap van the door wasn't shutting. Dave actually went clean everything out lose it up it shuts better than it did was new thanks a lot Dave

Best place to stay in the area, hands down. The management went over and beyond to fulfill any accommodations; even helped us with a minor fix on our van! The room was nice and clean. You can't go wrong choosing to stay here. Recommended for sure!

Pretty much the nicest folks you will ever want to meet , they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed . The room was clean and the beds were comfy . If you stay here and need anything, just ask ,as the owners are more than accommodating 100 recommend!

Let me start by saying I had a great experience,The super Dave was great very helpful and like a walking Walmart, this man has a little bit of everything at a great price,I even developed a somewhat friendly relationship with this family as my business in welch was I bought a jeep from a man there and rather than drive so late my uncle and myself rented a room from them and ever the critic I am i did my usual room inspection and every single thing passed except the air conditioner vents.....very important that ac vents are cleaned every month for air quality and it helps us people with allergies to breath....so that's why I gave a 3 star review because even tho the room was spic and span and the service was great the ac filters could've used some attention.....
