Shoney's

Granted that it's been a while since I've been in a shoney's - 15 years or better I was looking forward to stopping in. Upon arriving, I found that the only thing you could have was the buffet and there were no individual dishes of anything to be purchased. Buffet itself was okay - not bad, but nothing exceptional. I did end up ordering the buffet but to be honest you know it got about a c plus grade. Again, not bad just nothing extra. Oh no I suppose it wasn't a bad meal but I was a little disappointed

Food was fantastic as always, service was ok at best. I had to chase our server down twice for a refill on my coffee, finally got my first refill as we were done eating (an hour after I initially asked for one) Ended up taking my kids dirty plates to another lady to get them off the table. We went out for mother's day so I didn't have to do any of that, disappointed I had to anyways.

Stopped here in our way home. Had never been to a Shoneys. Good variety on the buffet, but unfortunately the nuggets the not cooked. We informed them and got an apology, but would have thought we would have gotten a discount as well considering we may be pulling over later due to the uncooked chicken nuggets. Ugh. Check before ingesting.

The food is usually always good. The service is always great. Best salad bar in town
