I participated in a 6 day on line only liquidation of a West Marine store. Items I won in the early phases were to be held for pickup at the end overall. Driving my van the 300 miles for the pickup, items from days 2 & 3 were not on site. I was treated with disrespect and lied to about recovery, the bulk of the items desired from the auction overall. The check out procedure I observed was haphazard, similar to a previous auction where I suffered theft loss, but still at odds as to how the quantity and bulk of my items could have disappeared. No apology or suggestion of consideration for the eight hours wasted in the bidding process or expense of the larger vehicle used for the 600 mile trip to claim my purchases. I did receive reimbursement for the exact purchase/fees spent. The previous experiences I had with Joe Pyle Auction were erased by this most unpleasant, dishonest experience.
