Hotel Morgan

If you're looking for a unique, clean hotel with character and a great town to explore to go along with it-- this is your place! Stayed here for a night last weekend (04/27-28). We loved the modern-meets-traditional hotel aesthetic. Valet or metered parking were the only options available for parking which, for the location, is completely understandable. The rooms were clean, decorated appropriately to the hotel design, however I think a little more attention could've been paid to the 'in room amenities' - the "Grooming Kit" box had been opened, items taken, and not replaced. Truly not a big deal, just a detail noted. Everything else was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. There was a corporate awards ceremony going on when we arrived, as a former Event Coordinator, that's usually a good sign. We didn't have time to experience the food/drink offerings of Anvil + Ax at the bar, but it was full during the early and late evening, and in the morning for breakfast & coffee so that seemed promising. Majority of things to do were within walking distance. This will definitely be a go-to stay next time I find myself in Morgantown for a night or two!

Hotel experience was nice. Be prepared to pay for parking or valet which was not in description.
