        Ive been taking my cars here for over 10 years and have always had great service at reasonable prices. I dont have to worry about getting sold things I dont need and theyve always addressed any mechanical issue Ive brought to them. The staff are pretty friendly and the owner has helped me out more than a few times. Hopefully they are around for a long time. Very convenient to have them in Westover.

        I dropped off my Subaru as I was hearing grinding noises while braking. Once theyve inspected the vehicle, they quoted me on a brake job for the whole rear end for 780 dollars. I called up the Sube Shop after hearing that and based on what Westover Tire said was needed, Sube Shop could do it for about 600. To my surprise, the Sube Shop actually said I only needed the brake service and one caliper, not the whole rear with pads and all. They ended up getting everything I needed for 500 after labor. Im not sure if WT was trying to get one over on me or not, but I appreciate them for at least checking out my car and trying to figure out what I needed.

      Hey Ross, I appreciate all reviews, even the 2 stars as it helps us in all aspects of communication with our customers and feedback. When a brake caliper fails, we always recommend replacing them in pairs. We recommend being replaced in pairs to ensure balanced braking and consistency, meaning if one side is new and the other caliper is 20 years old then things would not function the same. It is also the industry standard to replace in pairs. I want to make it abundantly clear that I don't think the Sube Shop is wrong in any way. I have known Todd and Brandon for over a decade, and they are great guys who run a great business. It's just a difference in company policy and process. I hope this at least brings some clarity to why we quoted the job the way we did. Thanks for considering us and please let us know if we can help in the future. Sincerely, Ryan
