Speaking with Mr. Simms about my legal problem was the first comfort that I have had about this issue in years. He was able to recommend resources and comfort during the free legal consult, although my legal issue is not his specialty. I have never spoken with a lawyer in my life, but I was so thankful that his firm breaks every negative stereotype that is out there about lawyers. If I ever have a legal issue that is his specialty, I will find comfort knowing that there is a lawyer in Morgantown that really cares about my well-being as a person.

He always takes the time to respond and answer his clients' questions. His legal knowledge has been proven over time and he always displays professionalism when dealing with clients. He has changed my life in such a significant way that I am so grateful to have found him. Due to my past struggles I had a pretty significant criminal record of misdemeanors. Since seeking counseling and recovery I have completely turned my life around and obtained my degree. My record caused me considerable anxiety after receiving a job offer from my dream company because it is the most regulated industry that requires such extensive fingerprint background checks. Mr. Simms filed an expungement petition in which he articulated so eloquently how I have improved my life and why it is worthy of expungement. I never dreamed all of those records could be expunged, but he made it happen for me. My mistakes and decisions made in the past no longer define me. It feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. It is such a relief to be able to let go of this chapter in my past and to no longer be disadvantaged because of my background. My professional career will now flourish. I got into some weird situation I would like to call illegal search and seizure. I found Michael on Avvo and after seeing some excellent reviews, I reached out to him. He messaged me back right away and was very helpful during the entire process. He knows the laws and following the right processes, my case was dismissed before it ever went to trial. I cannot thank him enough for being in this business.
