Had some persistent water issues in the bilco door compartment. Jeff came out within a few days of first contact. Had a good plan, which was to install a sump, carbon fiber strips and a drainage system. I felt like he gave me a fair price. Work was on schedule. Communication was great. Its a family business, so his son, Aiden was out here. Aiden was very professional and worked hard, especially with it being such a small space. Would recommend them to anyone!

Keenan was excellent and provided great customer service. He and his team did an amazing job on our crawl space. We recently had an issue with the system and he offered to come out immediately to fix it. We highly recommend this company!!

When all things are equal, I prefer selecting a small, family business over all others. But things were far from equal when I chose Sahara Dry Basement over two other larger businesses to fix my wet basement. Sahara Drys proposal had them doing more than the others and for less money. A recent snow melt followed by several days of heavy rain had ground water leaking through my basement walls and bubbling up from the floor where a previous owner had drilled some holes. Sahara Drys owner, Jeff Smoot, and representatives from two other companies specializing in fixing wet basements come to my property, look over my situation, and write up the solution. All three pretty much proposed the same solution which included an installation of a French drain. But only Sahara Dry offered to do the entire perimeter, drilling behind the small space between the wall and my two furnaces and two water heaters. (Its a duplex.) The other companies wanted to dig in front of my furnaces and water heaters. Not Sahara Dry who did the extra, hard work of drilling behind these obstacles to provide me with a complete solution rather than an easy solution. The other companies wanted me to arrange to have the water heaters moved out of the way. Not Sahara Dry who took care of that. One company said my adjacent crawl space was fine; the other did not even offer to look at the space. Not Sahara Dry who took the time to investigate and offer a proposal for a total fix of my problem. Working with Jeffs sons, Keenan and Aidan, was a pleasure. They really know their stuff and worked hard alongside their crew members. Its a real drag to have to deal with a wet basement. Working with Sahara Dry Basement made it as enjoyable as possible. And now I am no longer afraid of any forecast for rain.
