I'm astonished by the low reviews here. I'm giving this unit 5 stars for everything but location. The 5 stars reflect my thoughts on the unit for what it is: a very clean, reasonably priced and comfortable apartment with an excellent, responsive manager.
I stayed in a 3rd floor unit that I rented through AirBnB. It was spectacularly clean, given that it's usually a college student rental. I felt very at home while staying here for over a month.
The manager is amazingly kind and responsive. My questions were answered within a few minutes via text every time. I travelled from many states away and arrived a few days early, and was able to check in despite early arrival. Although this put the hostess and housekeeper in a bind, the unit was very clean and ready when I came in. I was extremely grateful for this after many days driving.
Things to be aware of are that this unit is in an older building that is very near to the courthouse. It felt scary when I first arrived. There are often homeless people nearby, especially late at night. However, no one ever bothered me or my car, whether I parked in the open or locked parking lot.
Because the building is old, there are things about the building and unit that could keep a handyman busy for some time.
Residents in the building are friendly and nice. I never heard any noise inside of my unit.
Most people who are hoping to find a comfortable rental at a good price in Huntington would be both comfortable and happy with their stay here. I was!
