Valley Health - East Huntington

I have never been disappointed with any Valley Health Medical Centers until yesterday when the Dental Receptionist told my daughter she needed a valid excuse to cancel her cleaning during the 11AM Tornado warnings on 04-02-24. She would have been on the 31st street bridge had she not cancelled and rescheduled. A Valid excuse? Im sorry, the community has suffered tremendous damage. Dear Receptionist, Please be more thoughtful with people.Thank you! Is this photo valid enough?

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Smith and the staff at Valley Health East. I have never encountered any office, even medical, in which every single employee is so nice and so helpful. I don't know how they're able to get that many good people in one office but they do. Dr. Kara Smith is AMAZING! One of the nicest there is. Great bedside manner, always friendly and helpful. Any time I've called with a problem they are prompt in getting back and and are great at accomodating when possible. I've never had to wait long when having an issue. I dont usually write reviews but felt it was necessary here. I would highly recommend this place!

My daughter had X-rays taken on Thursday afternoon (02/22) and was sent on her way without knowing the results. We called them Friday (02/23) later afternoon to inquire on the results where a nurse told us there didn't appear to be a break but she wasn't qualified to be certain. Today (02/29) we have still yet to hear from a doctor or qualified person. I'm waiting for the bill to see if I'm charged for services never rendered. If there is a serious issue, we are well past the time to fix it. I do NOT recommend going to this facility for X-rays!
