For what the apartments offer, being a tenant here is very much worth looking into. The apartments are certainly nice for the price asked for. Most of the apartments here are 1BR/1BA, but the two that are larger have been held for quite some time. Rent is very cheap (my payment is $650/mo) for what is provided and when accounting for the convenience in its location. There are no strict leases and payment is month-to-month, so apartments come and go quite often. As for parking, a small side lot with about ten spaces is present in addition to a larger gravel lot further down from the building. A basement with laundry utilities is also for use, and no one has voiced any concerns to my locking my bikes in there either throughout the year.
There are two small drawbacks, though. Being situated right along town's main street, a fair amount of nightime activity from impoverished individuals is experienced. Sometimes local authorities may be called, but these experiences have never put me at risk or have even seen my involvement.
The second drawback is minor, and it relates to the laundry room available in the basement. Two washers and one working dryer are available for use. However, the dryer rarely works for me. Almost always now, I will wash my clothes for a quarter and then simply drive the quarter-mile to a laundromat for drying.
