    I love bringing my son to Yakima Pediatric Dentistry! Dr. Ashley and her team are kind, respectful and very professional. My child and I always feel welcome when coming here, and you can just tell that everyone works together to provide you the best customer service experience, I couldnt recommend it enough.

    Have been taking my kids here for years and lately I received fees for a missed appointment. These appointments are scheduled months and months in advanced. For whatever odd reason they called an old number that we changed over a year ago and they have the new number, but we still have to pay for your office calling the wrong number that shouldve been deleted? They can sure send the bill in the mail, but wont send a reminder card when they schedule you so far in advance?. Their missed appointment fees arent cheap, but when you call the wrong number when you had the correct one and dont acknowledge that it was your mistake then its time to look for a new dental provider. Seems unfair and unprofessional. Thanks for providing feedback, but none of it answers my question about why the incorrect number was called. I noticed you stated they collected the wrong number, but I stated that they already had the correct number and instead they called an old number that we no longer had. I know this because the woman at the front desk not only confirmed that they called the old number, but that they had the updated number as well but didnt call that one. I understand that your time is valuable. We did not intend to no-show to the appt we just never got the reminder call and this appt had been scheduled months in advance. Weve had one no-show about 4 years ago and its not something we do on purpose. If I remember correctly this office wont let you schedule another appt until you pay the no show fee, which is extremely odd that weve had several appointments in between from the no-show up until now. Why wasnt it brought up at a recent appt we had? Second, you mentioned the office was in error for collecting the wrong phone number, but then later ask that we call if we feel we have received this bill in error? So which one is it? Because this really makes me feel like this office doesnt want to take accountability for mistakes and only abide to their policies when its convenient. I will be calling to pay the fee, but a lot of this just doesnt make sense and sadly it falls as patient responsibility.

First and foremost, thank you for bringing your children to see me; it is an honor to care long term for a family and I appreciate your support. Second, I apologize that this recent experience has left you unsatisfied. We are in error to not have collected the correct phone number and I will use this post as a learning tool to strengthen the front desk team. I have a strict no show policy, not for financial gain, but rather to discourage the habit and allow me the ability to schedule patients in a timely manner. If a patient wants or needs to be seen, but my schedule is full, they are pushed to a later date. If in a day I have 5 patients no-show, that takes the spot of 5 others that wanted or needed to be seen. I want to see all of my patients as timely as possible and curbing no-shows is one of the ways to help me do so. My no-show fee of $50 is always waived for the first no-show because I understand life happens. However, I do bill for repeated no-shows. If you feel you received this bill in error, I am happy to discuss a solution over the phone. Should this be the way we part, I wish you and your kids well!
