I talked with people who voiced their complaints about discrimination & people who been there at that location too long that think they own the campsite. These people should have been moved into housing. Thats not UNITY. Theres no such thing as race. And the shelter programs are to help people, not house them for money.

One of the scariest times of my life, made much more tolerable through the support of Camp Unity and the companionship there. Because of Camp Unity I was able to take some time to recover from a perfect storm of bad luck in my life. It is a safe place to stay if you are in need. You will have free, GOOD food, a place to have a hot shower and do laundry. I will always remember the time I spent here, it was a hard time, but being homeless is not easy for anyone. At least here you can feel safe.

I left about a year ago now, it probably is the best thing going around Seattle, I had the most terrible problem ever sleeping all night and once vertigo set in I left for Olympic peninsula, lot's of food & supplies, However there was " power" issues I mean to express concern over that, it was only some of the people who have been there a long long time,not Randy at all but " it was so"...true no picknick but likely It couldn't address My needs at that point in time...be well
