I received a proposal to perform a Boundary/Topo on a 5-acre property. I expressed that the price was higher than what I expected. I reduced the topo scope to 1/2 the property and was assured that they would make the appropriate adjustment. I still received an invoice for the entire amount. I spoke to their accounting department about the change in scope and they basically told me to just to pay the bill. I went ahead and paid the invoice, but I will never use the company again.

Very Disappointed in the service, perhaps its common practice in this industry to overstate time on site as to up-charge and provide an unitemized bill that required to you call (your time) for itemized details. For them to only respond to previous email not the one sent, seemed sadly unprofessional. For the record I was home when the crew arrived, they were on site 1 hour @225/hr but was billed for 2. Update: Another survey crew confirmed that the monuments were pulled by surveyor of this company, for lack of payment by adjacent property owner. Therefore, this co came on site and billed me for finding monuments that werent there and they should have been fully aware. So either a complete fraud or complete incompetence, neither of which are good, use with caution.
