Horrible customer service in the shoe department In at nightshift, was picking up some basic PE shoes for my daughter, last minute, because I’m a working a mom, 30 minutes prior to closing, I’m aware I’m shopping late and we are on a time crunch, shoe lady asks us if we need help, I said no thank you just getting PE shoes, then I was rudely told “well we close in 30 minutes” the this young rude employee, Megan, stands literally 2 feet with her hand on her hip glaring at me and my 12 year old daughter until we left the shoe department, I then went to check out and when I address my concern with the cashier she called manager and I got the same attitude from her to giving the compliant, I will never shop at this Fred Meyers again, I have never got such rude customer service from employees before, not sure if these are New employees, but Megan and the manger on duty in the evenings both acting like they have never worked customer service in there life, they must be new and used to unemployment .

UPDATE 9/8/21: I gave this store another chance this summer. Sadly, returned tonight and with Delta raging, record breaking cases in Clark County and kids making up 25% of the cases, I walked into this store tonight and in LESS than 5 minutes counted 10 people without masks. I'm an elementary teacher trying so hard to keep my students safe so they can stay in school. There are stores that enforce the mask mandate and they will be the ones that get my business.

They are very clearly understaffed and the place seems like a mess. Never enough checkers, the lines are always going into the aisles. No family bathrooms, last time I went the men’s bathroom was completely unusable it was so dirty. Definitely going to shop somewhere else from now on
