Riverside Performing Arts

My son and daughter have participated in Riverside dance and theatre classes for many years. I love the welcoming attitude of the the teachers and administrators. They work hard to build the children's confidence and skills without negativity. I've also taken adult classes and they are always so fun, even when I don't know what I'm doing!

I have had two of my three children go through the preschool and dance programs and absolutely love it. Our third child will absolutely be attending the preschool when he is old enough. I can't say enough about the teachers and their dedication to not only social but academic development. They support the individual personality of all the students and encourage them to challenge themselves allows them to grow and build confidence. The staff is incredibly experienced in childhood development with decades of teaching and it definitely shows. I can't recommend them enough!

We enrolled our daughter at RPA during the Covid times, everything was under lock down and they were offering some Zoom classes, awesome! I was thinking ok we will do this for 3 or 4 months and that's that. But we were so impressed with the instructor, that we then transitioned to in person over time and here we are 3 plus years later! We really love Riverside, they genuinely care about the well being of their students. Recently they had a recital and while I was sitting there watching my daughter confidently dance around on stage, smiling, laughing, and loving life I can confidently say this "There is truly no greater gift a business could ever give me than that." That was a moment I will always keep with me forever. Priceless. My wife also attends classes there, and as a husband it's been wonderful to see her be engaged with something she enjoys so much and the happiness that brings her. I would take classes too but my dance moves are so good it really wouldn't be fair to the others. To the staff members, there are likely days it doesn't feel like your making a difference, but know that YOU ARE making a difference. Your work IS important. I hope you all can carry that with you. For me it's more than just being thankful, I'm grateful. So if you're someone reading this and are on the fence give them a try, no business is going to be a great fit for everybody, but these folks are the real deal.

If youre looking for a fun and inviting place to learn how to dance/explore performing arts /sharpen your skills, look no further! Im writing this review as a mama of two littles who took multiple classes at RPA and as a current dancer in the adult classes as well. From the moment we walked through RPAs doors the whole studio made us feel welcome and like family. I cant tell you how kind and down to earth the entire studio is. Ive had the pleasure of taking classes with just about every teacher and they are all extremely talented and easy to learn from. Annie (the owner) is who I have spent the most time with and she is wildly talented and such a great teacher. She is really good at meeting every person where theyre at and taking them where they want to be all at the same time. She equally makes learning fun while challenging you. Joshs choreography is continually breathtaking and tells a story! I learned so much from him and gained confidence from his teaching in just a year. Sarah, on top of being an amazing tapper, has a fun and infectious personality you cant help but love! Her classes are such a joy to be in. Vanda is warm and inviting. I love that she choreographs hip hop to the lyrics making it that much more of an immersive experience. Another thing these adult dance classes are truly all levels, all experiences, all ages, all genders. Its a come as you are experience and its really quite special. I am so grateful to have found such a warm home to enjoy the arts. And if youre looking for one come on in!
