O. O. Howard House

Wonderful anchor house to interesting houses along Officers Row. This whole area begs to be walked to fully enjoy this piece of history of Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest. There is plenty of parking and handicap accessibility next to the OO Howard House.. There are benches under huge old maples and chestnut trees. There is a small rose garden on the north side of the OO Howard house with more benches Go and enjoy Recommended

This is a great part of history & Ive loved visiting it & taking tours of the Fort. There is so much to learn & it's such a wonderful place to be.

The updates that have been done to this house to make it usable for tours, weddings, and other things was some so great. I was able to see the interior of the house and exterior and loved every second of it! The house itself was very well cared for. There was a woman there who ran a craft that morning who gave us a little run down on the house and answered so many other questions. She was really so knowledge and I was very impressed with her answers on all of the questions we asked. She was so passionate about her job and you could tell she really enjoyed it. If you have the opportunity to go to the house definitely do because, even if you can't go inside, the Rose garden in the back yard was beautiful and so well cared for.
