Had the pulled pork loaded baked potato basket and an order of fried chicken on the side and it was a chore to eat it all. The flavor was excellent and she was pleasant and courteous. It was a little expensive in my opinion but what isn't these days....

Long review, but honest and thorough- This was my first experience with them and it was honestly good. I ordered the chicken basket that came with a side of greens, candied yams, mac and cheese, chocolate peanut butter pie, and a drink. I also ordered an extra order of greens, and an order of fried okra. They were out of the Mac and cheese and she called me right away to let me know and asked if there was anything I wanted to substitute it for. I asked for her opinion and she said the fried Mac and cheese bites, so I went with that. The delivery driver had left without my Mac and cheese bites and fried okra. She called me back to tell me she will deliver the remaining sides to me herself, which I live all the way across town. I told her it was ok and she credited me for my next order. I was completely ok with it because the order I received was well enough to feed my husband, me and my 2 little ones, she gives big portions of food, well worth it. First I wanna say the chicken was really good, they are big pieces of boneless thighs, I only got a taste of them and the kids ate the rest. She also included a nice size portion of beef tips with gravy over rice, which was fabulous, my husband ate that all. The candied yams were great, I kept going back for more. The collard greens were amazing! I am not the one to like my greens on the sweeter side because it takes the natural flavor of the greens away, these greens were not sweet at all, but more on the seasoning side, which is hard to find in Vancouver, WA, which I appreciated alot. The dessert, she included, the peanut butter chocolate pie along with the toast crunch cake. Let's just say the toast crunch cake was a hit because I didn't even get a taste of it, but smelled fantastic, my husband and kids ate the whole thing, and my kids are picky eaters. I did however, get to eat the peanut butter chocolate pie and it was just perfect, right on point. If your looking for a real, good home cooked meal, this is a good place to go, try it for yourself and see.

Now there are many reasons why I give such a low rating on this cuz I always try to be extraordinarily Fair. At first I was very intrigued and excited about our visit to Chrissy's kitchen because they say that it's Southern home cook and being from the south I expected a lot more than what I got when I got there. First off just because it's deep fried does not make it from the south second off it was not enough Creole seasoning in any catfish to make it actually Cajun or from the South 2nd there are no prices posted for the food served at the truck unless you're ordering it through Uber eats. And I guess if I paid attention to the pricing 20 to $30 they did hold true to to that how are the portions did not fit the price I ordered their special of the day which was a brisket potato because they had neither the collard greens or the beignet or really any actual Southern fair that they had advertised and my husband got the catfish basket which was also 1899 that only came with two pieces of catfish a handful of wedges and I ordered separately in order of fried pickles and fried okra which we were charged $8 a piece for and he got literally a child's portion in the same container as his catfish basket my baked potato and brisket was 25.99 now she said mine came with a slice of cake and drink and of course she had made the food and did not give her a price on the items until after she had made them I did go ahead and pay because I was my foresight for not being clear and direct with how much I was being charged however I do feel like this was mismanagement and also a way to deceive people the food was a fair quality but not great and like I had said in the beginning just because you deep fry it doesn't make it from the south I am offended that they called the southern food and and was a little taken back by the amount of food that we had gotten when we returned home with $67 worth of just food and all I had ordered was a brisket baked potato a catfish basket with that came with potato wedges in order to fried pickles in an order of okra.

Stopped by this little food truck super excited about the dream of being in New Orleans for even a 15 min lunch. Ranked 4.8 stars with over 70 reviews is no small accomplishment on google so had extremely high hopes. The girl ringing me up was so nice which added to my excitement of this place. For almost $25 for a meal it just ugh wasn't great. Had so many 5 star reviews it was just heart breaking. Ok a scale of KFC to Popeyes it's probably closer to the mediocre KFC... I got the boneless fried chicken and basically tasted like gas food level chicken which isn't bad but come on. Hush puppies were ok and the fries were basic frozen Fred Meyer fries. Why do I say this? Because I ordered a coke assuming it was Coca-Cola and it was actually Kroger style coke for $1.50. Sick and tired of being disappointed in mediocre food but the fight goes on and I will prevail in finding my little taste of New Orleans cuisine soon enough.
