I have completed the PHP program at Rainier Springs. I have found the entire staff here to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be the lunches offered, but I wasn't there for the food for my body, I needed soul food. That's why I gave them 5 stars. I would recommend this outpatient program for anyone experiencing extreme anxiety! Shout out to counselor Melissa

Staff was caring for the most part. I was very scared to go there, but felt a little more comfortable once I realized how things work there. I did need some FMLA paperwork filled out and submitted by the doctor so I could receive pay for being off work, but unfortunately the doctor did not submit and I was rejected. That was very disappointing. Clean facility food was ok.

came here in oct 2023. I came in and was a clear threat to myself and couldnt keep myself safe. My belongings were lost for four days and I was discharged against my will because not wanting to be around[my abuser] was not a reason to be here I was told to call my abuser to get numbers so i could call to have someone pick someone me up, despite me saying how horrible a idea that was as i was trying to get a restraining order on them. The waiting time is extremely long, and in the actual waiting room it seems there is noone observing cameras or checking in. Even the emergency alarms dont work and i repeatedly tried to flag down staff because there was a elderly patient who was yelling he was about to soil himself because theres no bathroom in the room. The inside waiting room was also very unsanitary, as are the bathrooms in patients room. I told the medication manager that i was going to harm myself in a permanent way, and she said no you wont repeatedly. I attempted the same day and afterwards she told me that wont buy me anymore time. Lauren welnaut, who apparently isnt even a psychiatrist and I dont know her actual title, is the most cold and cruel medical professional i met. She continued to invalidate my extremely recent trauma that led me to the hospital, and i was thrown out without my wallet or phone. If not for a few very very helpful staff members who are like recovery coaches or something similar, i would be dead. They are understaffed and clearly since ive been there, nothing has changed based on the reviews. I tried calling the number or website to leave my complaint of how bad the treatment is but none of them worked. I am shocked that this hospital is still operating after the amount of malpractice that happens there. I wrote my will and gave it to reception because I was very doubtful I could keep myself safe. Luckily i was able to go to another facility and get my belongings back but my time there was one of the most traumatic things that happened to me. I was being pushed out the door, not even there for a week but other patients were forced to stay there when they didnt want to. I have no words for the fact that after i said i couldnt keep myself safe and attempted i was still discharged the next day! She kept insinuating that is was lying or being overdramatic, even though i was actively fleeing a domestic abuse situation. This hospital needs to have a investigation and fire the horrible doctors and staff who clearly do not care about human lives. Alot of staff there do genuinely care about others like ruth, devon, and dong. But the staff that have the power to override everything and neglect and abuse patients are left unchecked. They are extremely understaffed and overwork their wonderful staff. I also am not sure if they have cleaning crew or anything. I can see the potencial help that this hospital can provide but please please please fire and investigate the horrible doctors and other staff, they are ruining peoples lives and have the unchecked power to do so without punishment. Also get some security staff because with a facility this big ive heard of many violent patients and the nurses had to handle them alone while one patient hurts another and unable to stop them. That is a danger to staff and patients. Stop ignoring our pleas for change and accountability and do a internal investigation.

As caretakers of the children that go here, we sincerely need caring and compassionate people to help them. Their work is hard but they are in the role of angels giving light hope and guidance to lost people fighting for their lives. Please help them a sit they were your own child.
