Their policies are a disaster. Their(at least one of) the female counselors has a bias against spouses who are trying to help their family member get the right treatment. My (ex) spouse was admitted to a 72 hour hold at this facility for I believe her 3rd time and for the 3rd time deemed ready for release by the end of the 72 hour hold. Before the 72 hour hold and for over a week and a half, she was completely disheveled, unorganized speech patterns resembling schizophrenia which I managed to get video evidence of, multiple encounters with the Vancouver Police who are witness to this, harassing the neighbors, throwing eggs at me and out into the parking lot of the apartments she lives, complete paranoia saying people are breaking into her place with no evidence.....The list goes on.... Although I was added as a witness by the mobile crisis team and told I could testify to what was going on, Heather's counselor said I couldn't show up to testify and provide video evidence of her demeanor for almost a two week period adding up to the point she was picked up and sent to this facility. Every time she goes there she manages to convince them and the judge she's ok and no need for long term care. The policy at this facility is to only evaluate how she is responding to their 3 days of treatment and the problem is she can hold it together for 3 days and fake her way through the process! It happens over and over again and I have to pick up the pieces for our children. The counselor hung up on me period. She must think I'm some kind of demon. Serious issues at this facility! The system is broken!
