Kearney Breast Center

Sadly, my daughter-in-law has been trying for a week to be scheduled for a STAT mammogram! Stat means right away. She is 35 and her doctor feels it is urgent. She has an appointment for 4 weeks from now. The office has not been very cooperative in this anxiety provoking time. Unfortunately there are no other options with her insurance. As a breast cancer survivor, I find this process unacceptable! All facilities know there will be urgent mamms that need to be done daily. The Kearny Center's system to accommodate urgent requests is terribly broken.

They are able to perform a mammogram but apparently can't work their phones - On hold for 30 minutes twice in one day before they finally answered our scheduling call.

I absolutely loved this place. The staff was amazing and the art donations were beautiful. Wow.

I have been here before and had a nice experience. Due to an insurance change I had been going to Kaiser the last few years. Insurance changed again so I can no longer go to Kaiser. I called today to schedule a mammogram due to feeling a small lump in my breast. I was told that I could not be seen without a referral due to the fact I was honest and told them I felt something. If I would have just said I am due for a mammogram they would have seen me. I can not get into a provider for months. I've called everywhere. The woman I was speaking with offered no suggestions. Showed zero empathy. Just flatly stated "It's policy". Absolutely terrible.
