Just a heads up about GEICO - it's not about a particular agent but the company itself. They kind of led me on about how quick it would be to get my insurance started. Don't get fooled by the date picker on their site for when your insurance kicks in. That's just the date you get your first mail from them, and then you've gotta send more stuff and wait another 30 days. I even called their main line, and the agent was like, 'Maybe try a different company.' Seriously, GEICO? That's not cool. They're gonna lose customers if they keep this up.

I have been a Geico customer for many years and recently started a new policy with my partner since moving to the Portland area. Jarid and Jake were so helpful and courteous answering my questions and discussing my policy with me when I called in for a quote. I felt very informed and comfortable during my conversation with them and they were very nice and informative with their answers. The customer service was excellent and I got a great rate. In my past dealing with claims Geico has been great - roadside assistance has also helped me with getting a tow or a flat. All in all I appreciate Geico and the representatives at the Vancouver location greatly and would recommend. Thank you! - Lauren & Jacqueline
