This place was hell. I was constantly bullied, no one cared. The teachers don’t actually care if you get bullied and about your education they are just in it for the money.

Teachers are absent minded to individual needs of the children. Our bus driver was terrible (she has been out for a few months, and in her absence my son has had zero issues) and the principle is egocentric and a pseudo listener. I feel sad that my younger son has to stay there three more years. My older son will be out of there next year, and I honestly am fearful what Alki will bring based on our experience at Salmon Creek. Other parents have confided in me and feel the same way. The culture and climate of a school begins at the top. New leadership is in order, perhaps more training or better equipped teachers. I feel that my 5th graders teacher is burned out, and cares very little.
