Island Family Dental

I am absolutely livid! Today, I called the clinic and spoke with the front desk clerk to confirm if they accept children. After she said yes, I began to discuss a serious issue that occurred at my child's last clinic. Incredibly, she rudely interrupted me, chuckled into the phone, and told me she'd call back in two minutes. I was shockedI didnt even get a chance to explain or ask about scheduling an urgent tooth extraction for my child because it's an emergency. She just hung up and never bothered to call back! I've never encountered such blatant rudeness and disrespect. I am extremely relieved that I didn't end up taking my child there. I strongly advise against even contacting this clinic! I wish I could give them a 0 stars!

This is how amazing this dental office is: My insurance changed 6 years ago and Island Family Dental didn't fall in my network. I was so sad. I told myself I would be back if my dental insurance ever changed again. I am excited to say, in 3 months I will be back!

Great dentist office. Entire staff makes you welcome and right away you know they care about you and want everything to go right. Dr. Newkirk is very pleasant and and it is easy to see her staff enjoys their jobs and are willing to take that extra step to make sure all details are covered.

Island family dental, is the best dentist office I've ever gone to. The staff is excellent at taking care of your dental needs, yet still caring and compassionate. I think they're the best in town. I recommend them to anyone with dental needs. You'll be treated like family.

Highly recommend Island Family Dental. The staff and Dr. Newkirk are amazing people. Ive never had a bad experience here. They dont ever make me feel rushed and like Im just another patient. They talk to me like Im part of the family there and explain what they are doing when they are doing it and making Im comfortable with everything. Ive always had to have halcion even for a cleaning but they dont do that there so Ive put my big girl panties on and worked through the anxiety of going to the dentist without it. They have been very understanding when scheduling my appts and we have worked together as a team to get my dental care taken care of. I appreciate each and everyone of you at Island Family Dental.
