I usually go to a different Gentle Dental location but since I live closer to this one (Salmon Creek) I wanted to switch to here. The appointment was for 2:30, I was brought in for polish at about 2:50, then wasnt seen for my cleaning until 3:20. The dentist mentioned people were out (planned) so they were understaffed. This was odd because they had called me to move my appointment back 1.5 weeks to today from when it was originally scheduled.
She was much more aggressive that my usual dentist, which I commented on. At one point she caught my gums hard enough I was bleeding quite a bit. We stopped, she blamed it on me not flossing, and said I should be in every 3 months for extensive cleaning as recommended by the previous office. Ive been going to the previous office for years and Ive actually improved enough weve gone from every 4 months to 6, so I said I didnt believe her and wouldnt be back. She left then without finishing and without doing the oral rinse, which you would think Id need if my gums were really that bad. The front desk said I could make an appointment to finish everything with my regular dentist if I wanted but Ive already taken time off for this today.
