They literally forgot to file my taxes after I paid them. They made it clear that they wouldn't file without payment, completely understandable; paid their astronomical fee and they just didn't bother to finish up their end. And now they have called regarding my review. Most prompt they have ever been with any communication. Can't get taxes filed without extensions but this gets a response within a couple hours; and they state that I am wrong and this didn't happen. It most certainly did as it was found out during a house refi and everything came to a halt while we waited for the taxes to be filed.

Absolute trash communication. I still have yet to recieve my 2021 refund.

Our taxes are not complex but an extention was needed for reason that were never really clear. We did not hear from them again until July when we were told they were mostly done. Then not again until Sept we we contacted them and they said They would get right on it. They were not certain how or why it had taken so very long. Once they were done we were asked to come pick them up. It was not mentioned that they are closed on Fridays and dispite what Google, their website and the sign on the door says they close at 4:00. It is now two day until Oct. my taxes have still not been filed but I will certainly be charge for their "services."

As a new business owner, I want to do business with local vendors and I had hired Lewis Group to do my taxes in 2020. From that time communication with anyone there has been spotty. Earlier this year, I asked for help with getting my Quickbooks account cleaned up. It took multiple requests before they would even start to look at it. Once I met with the bookkeeper they said it wasn't going to be hard and they would work on it. It took over 3 months of waiting for the work to be completed and very little communication. When I looked at my Quickbooks account, I couldn't really tell if any work was even done. I finally reached out to some other accounting firms and found one that has done the work quickly, accurately, and at a fair price. The only time I received quick communication from this firm was when I told them I was moving my business to another firm. I got my bill for the work that wasn't completed that same day! If you don't really want to work with myself or other new business owners, just let us know before stringing us along for months. There are plenty of other qualified firms to choose from.
